Dr. Irvin Khoza has confirmed Betway as the new PSL sponsors, which came as no surprise to many on Wednesday.
During this announcement that was held in the PSL headquarters, it was also revealed that the amount to be injected to the league is around 900 million.
Khoza put to bed rumors that DStv was pulling out as their sponsors a year earlier than they were contracted to, and tipping Betway as their successors.
The league will, as announced, commence on the 10th of September, with the MTN8 filling the gap as it commences on the 3rd of August.
Betway becomes the fourth sponsor in the era of the PSL, since its inception in 1996, following DStv, ABSA, and Castle Lager.
