Kaizer Chiefs Confirm Sirino Signing after Mamelodi Sundowns Exit...

Former Mamelodi Sundowns player, Gaston Sirino has signed a two-year contract with Kaizer Chiefs, following his exit at Chloorkop.

The Uruguayan was released by Downs a couple of weeks ago, after having had a hard time breaking into the team, said to be propelled by his request to move to Al Ahly, early last season.

The act was said at the time to have not gone down well with Downs’ decision makers, leading to a reported snub in the starting line-up.

The 33-year-old is one of four players now confirmed by the Soweto Giants, Rushin Dortley, Fiacre Ntwari, and Bongani Sam, being the other three.

Since Chiefs did not make it into the top 8 following their disastrous season the previous campaign, arguably, their new season begins with a trip to Marumo Gallants in Bloemfontein as their opening match of the Betway Premiership on the 14th of September.
